Analysing Magazine Layouts - Already Existing Music Magazines

In this task I was to look at the current music magazines which are available on the market. The part of the magazine which I have especially focused in this task was the layout, meaning that I have looked at where different objects were placed on the canvas of the pages. To gain a wide variety of ideas I have looked at three different magazines and studied the front cover, the contents page and the double page spread for all of the magazines. By this I was allowed to notice similarities and differences between them, allowing for me to feedback on what parts of the magazines are succesfull. By this I have gained information and was inspired on what features I should include in my own music magazine while designing and creating which would make my magazine follow the standard formats and look more professional.
